Fitness brand, Peloton made use of a new soundtrack in its new commercial for the highly coveted Peloton Bike+, which promotes a modern and fun approach to working out.
Fitness brand, Peloton is widely known for its remarkable and somewhat famous marketing and branding campaigns that boast a wide range of creativity and catchy tunes. Major artists such as Beyoncé and The Fugees have allowed Peloton commercials to feature their music.
It is therefore no secret that for Peloton’s newest addition to its range of fitness equipment, the Peloton Bike+ has introduced a catchy song that has grabbed the attention of many fitness fanatics. However, many are still questioning what the song being sung in Peloton’s latest ad is.
Peloton recently revealed that it enlisted the 2019 track, Purple Hat, by Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern of Sofi Tukker, for its new commercial for the Peloton Bike+. The musical duo is famously known for its upbeat and fast-paced songs, which seems fitting for a commercial promoting the sale of a cardio machine. The two are also ambassadors of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), with the focus being that mental health is equally important as physical health, a philosophy that resonates with Peloton.
The fitness brand has opted to use Purple Hat to promote a modernized approach to working out that appeals to the younger generation. Also, with most people staying at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, workout equipment like the Peloton Bike+ has definitely become a fast seller and the song adds a fun and heart-pumping touch.
