TaylorMade uses golfing greats to promote its SIM2 golf club

TaylorMade has enlisted some of the most prolific golfers for the promotion of its SIM2 golf club, with a marketing strategy that has continued for well over a year.

TaylorMade struck gold when it managed to enlist some of the leading and most prolific golfers in recent history for the promotional campaign of the SIM2 golf club. The first of the commercials was shared in 2020, with the behind-the-scenes video detailing the significance of enlisting the greats to form part of the overall marketing campaign and commercials.

Some of the prolific golfers that form part of the campaign are Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Maria Fassi, Matt Wolff, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Colin Morikawa, Beau Hossler, and Tiger Woods. One of the commercials released sees the greats showcasing the friendly competition that exists within them.

However, some of the recent commercials focus on enticing new entrants to the sport, by sparking a desire to want to be a part of the fraternity of great golfers. That was the case with the 2020-released “Say When” commercial, which showcased the greats with golf enthusiasts. The commercial seeks to highlight that it is not necessarily skill that makes the sport, but heart, which is partially how the greats supposedly reached their current status.

The latest commercial is titled “Who’s Next?” and continues to stress the narrative that the next great will not only be determined by their skill, but their hard work and heart as well. TaylorMade relayed this through the use of great golf players working together to develop clubs that better their game, and the game in general.
