City Girls’ Jobs music video depicts modern-day rags to riches story

City Girls used the hook of their new single, Jobs, as the narrative of the accompanying music video, emphasising that they do not have regular jobs.

City Girls released the music video for Jobs on Friday, 19 June 2020. The single and its music video were meant to act as promotional releases and launch the pre-order sales of the duo’s new album, City On Lock. However, after the album was allegedly leaked, it was immediately released officially by the pair.

The Daps-directed music video is premised on the hook of the song, which hears the duo affirming that they “do not work jobs, but are the job.” In the video, the duo starts off working at an eatery as really bad waitrons. After being fired, they create OnlyFans accounts and instantaneously start earning money. Thereafter, they start living the lives they have always desired.
