AWA has released her debut EP, cry, baby, after the release of four promotional singles ahead of debuting the entire body of work.
AWA released her debut EP, cry.baby, on Friday, 19 June 2020. The EP is her first collective offering, following the release of four tracks from the EP as standalone singles in promotion of the six-track offering.
Her first single, F**kin’ Love Songs, featuring Ebenezer, still stands as her most popular hit from the project on Apple Music. cry.baby is a misleading title, as it suggests that the EP will offer songs that are melancholy and sombre. On the contrary, the EP is filled with R&B gems that discuss romance and issues of the heart, leaning more towards encouraging listeners to always be honest about their feelings.
Each track on the EP offers something different, and includes singles such as Use You, Comfortable, Too Late For That, featuring BJ The Chicago Kid, Like I Do and Piano Song.
The EP is available for purchase on Apple Music.
